- These kits will replace the Onan engines in JD318 tractors. Be sure to clarify whether the original engine model number starts with a `B` or a `P`. Original engine stopped production in December 2003. Our conversion kits allow you to update to a newer OHV V-Twin design engine without having to cut your hood or frame. You will receive a new PTO belt with any of the conversion kits for this tractor. You will receive a new throttle cable with this conversion kit. All of the kits are pre-wired to match the original wiring harness on the tractor. All kits will receive a new muffler as well.
