On the Kawasaki engines listed, there are three changes to be made: 1. You will need to use the stub shaft off of your current engine flywheel 2. If your existing engine does have a solenoid on the starter, you can either swap your old starter to the new engine or use an aftermarket solenoid and mount to the frame of the mower and use the new starter on the engine 3. You will remove the oil sending unit from your old engine and add it to the new engine
