1. What is an OEM number and where can I locate it?

OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer. The OEM number would be the equipment manufacturer's part number for a specific part. You can find this number in your parts manual and sometimes on the part itself.


2. What is the difference between a Copperhead and Gator Mulcher blade?

Copperhead and Gator are both mulching blades with a similar design to them but from different manufacturers.Gator Mulchers are more commonly known but both perform the same job effectively.


3. How do I order an engine not listed on your Web site?

Since there are hundreds of engines, we don't have them all listed, only a few popular ones. To order a particular engine, call our technical service department at 1-800-222-4303 or send an e-mail to You must include the model and type or spec of your current engine and the zip code it will be shipping to along with your contact information. We can order any Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, Kawasaki or Honda engine you need.


4.What is the typical order turn around time?

Web orders are entered throughout the day, so morning orders will more than likely ship out that same day unless you order on a Saturday or Sunday. Then the orders will not be entered until Monday. You will be updated on the progress of your order, and the day after your order ships, you will be notified by e-mail of your FedEx tracking number.


5. What courier do you use?

Ground shipments are sent by FedEx, which is the vast majority of orders. A common carrier will be used for truck shipments, and we will shop around to get you the best rate possible.


6. How do I return an item I ordered from Landscaper Pro?

Instructions on how to return an item are on the back of your invoice. Be sure to send the items to our New York Location.
Be sure to include a copy of the invoice identifying which items you are returning and the reason for your return. To save you money, UPS or USPS is the least costly way to send items back.


7. What does aftermarket mean?

Aftermarket means non-OEM. It is not listed as an original Kohler or Scag part, for example, but our parts have been manufactured to the same specifications as the OEM parts and cost you much less for the same quality. Sometimes the same manufacturer makes the OEM and aftermarket parts but does not put the name brand stamp on the aftermarket product.
